Japanese Spoon Gouge

Hand-forged gouges for hollowing the tops and backs of stringed instruments. The double layered (Blue Paper Steel) blades hold their edge well even when working seasoned maple. The drop-shaped Japanese red oak handles rest comfortably in your hand during use. Slightly rounded, shovel-like blades.
