The blades are hand-forged from multilayered-steel and hardened to 64 HRC. Their unparalleled degree of sharpness allows very fine shavings to be removed and high-quality surface finishes to be attained. Single bevel blades with slightly hollow ground backs. Polished Sakura handles and scabbards. For sharpening we recommend using fine-pored Japanese water-stones. Come with sharpening instructions.
